This was a job she enjoyed, as well as the people she worked with. She was a great cook and we can remember coming home from school, knowing that she would be there and that she had made something good for a “snack.”
She attended East Side Baptist Church in Hancock for a time & enjoyed the people there and the fellowship dinners to which she contributed and probably shared and exchanged recipes.
For the past few years, she had been in Residential Care at Courtland in Ellsworth. She was blessed with a wonderful staff of caregivers and a special roommate, Evelyn Snowdeal.
