  1. P. David Williams, of Mariaville, ME, formerly of Abington, MA, passed away suddenly on June 3rd, 2018 at the age of 75.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn (White). Father of Paul David Williams Jr. and his wife Christine of Abington, MA, Michael Williams and his late wife, Lynn, of Abington, MA, Dennis Williams and his wife, Sarah Emoto, of Sierra Madre, CA and Joseph Williams and his wife, Liz Koogle, of Vieques, Puerto Rico.

He is also survived by his five children, Michael Williams Jr., Joseph Williams, Atticus Williams, Nova Williams and Rylan Teal. Brother of Priscilla Real of Rockland, Kenneth Williams of Rockland, Joan Rowans of Ossipee, FL and the late Patricia Williams, Elaine Creamer, Pauline Halley, John Williams Jr., Robert Williams and Marilyn Owens. David is also survived by his beloved orange cat, Shelly.

Born in Dorchester, MA on October 1st, 1942 and raised in Rockland, MA.  He was an Abington firefighter and retired as captain in 1985 before moving to Mariaville fulltime in 2008, where he also served as a call fireman and town selectman.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time on his boat with his wife, family and friends.

Many thanks and appreciation to the Davita Dialysis Center of Ellsworth, ME for the loving care he received from them as a dialysis patient.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 8th from 4pm-6pm at the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main Street, Ellsworth, ME.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9th at 10am at the Otis Baptist Church, 9 Church Lane, Otis, ME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the Mariaville, ME fire department and also to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
