Gouldsboro – Maureen Hall passed to the Lord on March 9, 2019 after a long fight with her illness.  She was the wife of Michael (Mike) Hall of Gouldsboro Me and daughter of Michael (deceased) and Patricia Keelan of Lakewood, NJ.  Mike was at her side during her passing.   Every day spent with her son and beautiful grandsons was a blessing from God, she adored them.  Maureen was the best loving wife to her husband Mike.  She had such a loving heart, her smile was infectious and would brighten the day for those who knew her.

Maureen attended Bricktown High School in New Jersey and graduated from Taylor Business Institute in New Jersey.   After graduation she worked as a Medical Records Technician in New Jersey.

Maureen married Mike in March 1984 and eventually moved to Gouldsboro, ME in 1990.  During this time, she established her career working in the Tax Assessor office then becoming Assistant Clerk, moving to Clerk and eventually Office Manager at the Gouldsboro Town Office for 25 years until she retired due to her illness. Maureen knew everyone in town by their first name and always greeted them with her great smile.  Whenever or whoever needed assistance or support she would be the first to step up without hesitation.

She loved her town and the people who live here.  Maureen worked and volunteered tirelessly on the Gouldsboro Recreation Committee, the Jones Pond Committee and loved to participate in the Veteran’s Dinner.

Maureen was a true daughter of God and a devout catholic.  As she lived her life in Maine, her church became the Prospect Harbor United Methodist Church for 25 years.  She loved her church family and always looked forward to church events and fellowship.

Family and friends were the most important thing to Maureen. Although there will be many miles between her and all of us, she always has and will continue to feel the close ties that bind us together.

Maureen leaves behind her loving husband Michael, her loving son Patrick, her grandsons Landon, Liam and Logan. Her former daughter in-law Ashley, she loved as her own daughter.
